A year ago I posted this video on my YouTube channel when I feel that it was needed the most. However, I do feel like it is needed now and always. It is a loving kindness meditation that is really the essence of what “heartfulness” means. In other words, the definition of Heartfulness is to send kind thoughts to ourselves and others. For instance, this practice is just as important, comforting, and calming as a six second hug. Make sure to refer to the Yoga, Mindfulness and Meditation Tool box.

How To Offer Heartfulness
Love and kindness can be silently offered to others, but make sure you offer that same love and kindness to yourself first. When you are practicing offering love and kindness to yourself, repeat these phrases:
- May I be happy
- May I be safe
- May I be healthy
- May I be at peace
After that, offer this love and kindness to someone you love and someone you may have had difficulties with. Finally, offer it with everyone else. Then notice, how does that make you feel? Heartfulness or sending kind thoughts to ourselves and others is the essence of the loving-kindness meditation.
