Welcome to Beginner Yoga 101, a specially crafted program designed for those taking their first steps into the world of yoga. Whether you’re a complete novice or returning after a hiatus, this series provides a gentle and comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of yoga practice.

What to Expect:

    1. Foundational Poses: Learn and master the essential yoga poses that form the basis of a well-rounded practice. Our experienced teacher, Marianne Bochilo, 500E-RYT, will guide you through each pose, ensuring proper alignment and technique.

    1. Breath Awareness: Explore the connection between breath and movement. Understand the importance of mindful breathing to enhance relaxation, focus, and the overall yoga experience.

    1. Basic Flow Sequences: Begin to string together poses in gentle sequences, allowing you to experience the graceful flow of yoga. These sequences are designed to improve flexibility, strength, and balance progressively.

    1. Introduction to Meditation: Discover simple meditation techniques to calm the mind and promote inner peace. Cultivate mindfulness as you explore the transformative power of meditation.

    1. Props and Modifications: Learn how to use props effectively and explore modifications tailored to individual needs. This ensures that everyone can comfortably participate, regardless of fitness level or physical limitations.
