Yoga

Yoga has been a part of my life for over 20 years, and my practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live each moment more mindfully. In our classes, we love to combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help you deepen your practice. we seek to help others thrive in live by nurturing body, mind and soul with yoga, and our hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.

Our classes range from Open Vinyasa (movement with breath), Hatha Yoga, Warm Hatha, Chair yoga,  Restorative and children’s yoga – we teach pre-school age children through senior adults.

Our intention for opening Peaceful Yoga in Malverne, NY is to bring the joy of yoga to life in an accessible way all. We are seeking to help other thrive in life At Peaceful Yoga there are classes for every body and every age. Beginners Welcome!

Please note some classes are also offered vis LiveStream. In addition to the classes at the Studio we also serve in the local communities. 

Meditation

Meditation is a grounding practice which helps you to know yourself better, appreciate yourself and others more, and allows you to get a more relaxed and sound sleep. Science has proven that regular meditation can have powerful long-lasting effects. Meditation helps to activate our rest-and-digest system and begin the process of ushering our body back to a more natural and calm state. Our body begins to heal and grows stronger and more resilient. Through mediation you begin to notice your body and mind more easily let go of daily stressors and challenges. You feel calmer. You can focus more clearly. You can be more creative. You feel more balanced and comfortable in your skin. Meditation utilizes breath and body awareness to learn to become less reactive and let go of judgments and expectations that cause stress in our lives. 

There are many different types of mediations but not every style of mediation is for everybody. In our meditation workshops we teach a variety of mediation styles. It is my objective that at the end of the workshop you will leave with at least one mediation style that you can take home and practice daily.
